RUSSIA CALLING! Forum to bring together businesses, investors and government officials in an open dialogue

The 13th Russia Calling! VTB Capital Investment Forum, scheduled to be held online on 30 November and 1 December, 2021, will bring together government officials and businesses, Russian and foreign investors and experts.

The Forum will kick off on 30 November with a session “New economic policy: Green and technological transformation,” moderated by Yuri Soloviev, VTB’s First Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board. Speakers at this session will include Governor of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina, Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin, Wildberries Founder and CEO Tatyana Bakalchuk and Founder of RUSAL, GAZ Group and Volnoe Delo Foundation Oleg Deripaska. They will discuss Russia’s monetary and budget policies, climate change and the economics of ecosystems.

On the Forum’s second day, VTB Infrastructure Holding will hold a session titled “Infrastructure projects — drivers of economic growth,” where government officials and international business leaders will discuss breakthrough infrastructure development projects, as well as ways of cutting red tape in construction. The same day, VTB Capital Investments will be hosting a session “Drop in the ocean or a tidal wave: what effect do individual investors have on stock markets?” featuring investors, as well as foreign and Russian experts. They will discuss the role of private investors in capital markets. The Forum will end with a session on sustainable development titled “ESG – Right Here! Right Now?” on the ways in which the ESG agenda impacts Russian and global economies, business communities and societies.
